NO. 040’S MASTER BEDROOM: A PLACE TO RESET

With renewal of the forefront of our minds this quarter, we’re reflecting on spaces that ground us and help us reset. Project No. 040 was a full-home transformation, but in this blog we will delve into the master bedroom. Some spaces in a home are designed for living, others are for gathering. But the master bedroom? That’s where we wind down and reset.

This room featured beautiful transom windows lining the wall, and we embraced their charm by designing a custom channeled headboard that spans the windows, making them feel like an integral part of the room’s architecture. The pillowed texture softens the space, adding a dreamy quality that invites you to slow down. Our goal was to find the perfect balance between cozy and refined. The color palette for this room is rich in depth: soft creams, warm camels, and subtle greys. Texture became our greatest asset for adding warmth (and a little hygge) with materials like bouclé, wool, and linen that brought quiet luxury and dimension into the room.

No. 040 Master Bedroom

More than a bedroom, this space was designed as a retreat by our expert home interior designers. A place to step away from the chaos outside, sink into comfort, and just breathe. At Studio Thomas, we believe a home should be a reflection of the people who live in it - their pace, their rituals, their story. In No. 040, that meant creating a space that felt effortlessly comfortable.
